I really have nothing much to say about this week. The biggest thing to happen is probably a new version of Wireshark. Wireshark 0.99.5 was released on Thursday. It only fixes some minor crashing bugs. There was once a time when Wireshark (then Ethereal) had a rather poor security record. It has improved significantly over the last few years.

The Super Bowl is on tonight, so I think I'll keep things short.

  This is the bind update I mentioned last week. I'm still rather annoyed with ISC, and a number of other people have backed me up that they've become very hard to work with as of late.
